J.O.B.S. Club is an employment support group, giving Members an opportunity to share their job and job search experiences in a positive and encouraging environment. In addition, guest speakers from the business world come to give tips and advice. Job skills training is conducted in a variety of industries such as office, manufacturing, restaurant, grocery store, retail and more. We have held mock employment experiences such as the SNAP Cafe’ and SNAP Superstore, giving a real-life work experience.
North Texas SNAP is looking for business professionals to share their experiences in the workplace including your first job, successes and failures, how you worked your way up to the position you currently hold and provide advice for being a good employee.
Volunteers are also needed to help with our job skills training – guiding Members in job tasks in a variety of industries.
