Mike Jones, Advisory Board

Mike Jones serves as the S.T.A.R.S. Program Manager for Goodwill North Central Texas. A unique day-rehabilitation program for adults with significant or multiple disabilities, S.T.A.R.S. participants learn life skills to achieve their maximum independence. His lifelong commitment to people with disabilities began in junior high when he volunteered with Special Olympics, and continued into high school where he served as a teacher’s aide and volunteer in special education classrooms. Today, Mike is a member of The Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Council of Tarrant County, the Grapevine Mustang Softball Booster Club and coaches his daughter’s Travel Ball team NTX Outlaws. He lives in Grapevine with his wife, Cheryl, and their three daughters – Kaylin, Josie and Jaydin. He enjoys boating, fishing and the outdoors.
